What is the ‘Hide My Email’ feature and how can I find my real email?

If you used an Apple device to sign in, you might have chosen the “Hide My Email” option. Many customers ask about this because it creates some confusion when receiving tickets or updates.

Here’s how it works:

  • Apple creates a dummy email address (for example: abc123@privaterelay.appleid.com).

  • All messages sent to this dummy email are automatically forwarded to your real Apple ID email.

  • This way, your personal email stays private, but you still receive all communications.

👉 To access the same Platinumlist account again, you need to:

  1. Log in by clicking the Apple icon on the sign-in page.

  2. Make sure you use the same Apple ID you used for your original purchase.

  3. Your tickets and details will appear under that same account.

If you’re unsure which email is linked, you can check your Apple ID settings on your iPhone:

  • Go to Settings → tap your Apple IDiCloudHide My Email.

  • Here you’ll see the dummy address and the real email it forwards to.
