How to Find and Resell Tickets on Platinumlist

Overview of Ticket Resale on Platinumlist

  • Ticket resale is exclusively available through the Platinumlist app.

  • Resale is permitted only for tickets purchased through Platinumlist's platforms (website or app) and delivered via the mobile app.

  • The resale process is designed to ensure security for both the original and new buyers, regardless of the type of QR code (static, dynamic, or delayed delivery).

Accessing Your Tickets

  1. After purchasing a ticket, you will receive a booking confirmation email, but the actual ticket will be available in the Platinumlist mobile app.

  2. To access your tickets:

    • Log into the app using your original purchase method (Apple or Google login, or your email and password).

    • Navigate to the 'My Tickets' section and select the 'Upcoming' tab to locate your order.

Steps to Resell Tickets

  • Note: Not all events allow ticket resale.

  • If resale is permitted, follow these steps:

    1. Log into the Platinumlist mobile app.

    2. Find your ticket order under the 'Upcoming' tab in the 'My Tickets' section.

    3. Click the Resell button in the action bar of your ticket holder.

    4. Choose the tickets you wish to resell and set your price.

    5. Tap Submit for Resell.

Important Notes on Resale:

  • Event-specific rules may limit the number of tickets you can resell and the maximum price.

  • A summary of your resale will show pricing, seller charges (including fees), and any VAT deductions.

After Listing Tickets for Resale

  • Once listed, your tickets will appear on the event's ticket selection page under the same category as the original sales.

  • Tickets priced higher than the original cost will be categorized as Tickets from Fans, utilizing a 'Best Available' sales approach to prioritize affordability for buyers.

Tracking Resale Status

  • You can monitor the resale process in the Resale tab under My Tickets.

  • Status Definitions:

    • On Sale: Available for purchase.

    • Sold: Successfully purchased.

    • Unsold: Not purchased.

    • Cancelled: Removed due to event cancellation.

Resale and Money Transfer Statuses:

  • On Sale: Tickets are listed for sale.

  • Ready to Withdraw: The event has ended, and withdrawal requests can be initiated.

  • Under Review (Green): Withdrawal request is being processed.

  • Under Review (Orange): Additional clarification needed.

  • Funds Sent: Money has been transferred.

Modifying Resale Listings

  • You can change your resale ticket price if no tickets have been sold:

    1. Cancel the existing listing.

    2. Submit a new resale request with the updated price.

Withdrawing Resale Earnings

  • Withdrawals can be made after the event ends:

    1. Log into the Platinumlist App.

    2. Navigate to the 'Resale' tab.

    3. Click on Withdraw request for the relevant event.

    4. Provide your bank account information, billing address, and National Residence ID.

  • Withdrawal requests can be tracked in the resale section of your account.

Important Requirements:

  • Earnings can only be withdrawn in the currency of the event location.

  • You must be a resident of the event country with a local bank account.

Cancellation of Resale Listings

  • You cannot remove a whole listing, but you can cancel individual tickets that haven’t sold:

    • Access the resale listing details and click the red Cancel button next to each ticket you wish to remove.

Seller Responsibilities

  • Set a fair price within system limits.

  • Cover resale fees, which depend on ticket price and may include VAT.

  • Reside in the event's country and have a valid local bank account.

If Tickets Don’t Sell

  • Unsold tickets remain in your 'My Tickets' section and are valid for event entry.

  • Platinumlist does not guarantee ticket sales, and no refunds are provided for unsold tickets.

Common Reasons for Listing Issues

  • Listings may be rejected or placed on hold due to:

    • Event organizer policies.

    • Concerns regarding ticket validity.

    • Violations of event-specific rules.

Understanding 'Ticket from Fans'

  • This category includes tickets resold by fans who purchased them initially on Platinumlist but are now unable to attend.

Reselling and Refunds

  • Resold tickets can only be sold once and cannot be refunded.

  • If an event is canceled, refunds will be issued to all ticket holders.

Transferring or Gifting Resold Tickets

  • Tickets from resale can be transferred or gifted, with a record kept of the transfer.

Seller Communication

  • Currently, there’s no option for buyers to ask sellers questions directly. For inquiries, please contact the Platinumlist support team.
