How client can report fraud in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Fujeirah, Ajman, UAQ

📌 Note: Please collect the following before reporting:

  • Screenshot of the fraudulent website

  • Identification (ID for residents / Passport for tourists)

  • Proof of payment or email confirmation

  • Description of what happened (date of the event, what was purchased, etc.)

You can also use the Ministry of Interior app to report cybercrimes:

After downloading the MOI app, log in using your UAE Pass.

After you have successfully logged in, search file eCrime and click on the third option as shown below

Press on next and report the incident in writing as shown below:

Which shall take you to this page, where your name, email address and mobile number will appear. Insert the details of the incident, detailing what happened exactly, how much they charged, what they offered and the website and/or page in question.

Once you have completed all the details required accurately, you can hit ‘save and next’ then make sure all the details are accurate. If all is correct, then proceed to submitting it to the MOI in which they will send it to Public Prosecutor to handle the case.
