This year’s Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens will be business as usual. We look forward to seeing all our fans across the three days enjoying the Dubai Sevens in the usual style.
IS THE ENTRY FREE FOR THE FIRST DAY?
Yes, entry is free! You don't need any tickets to enter.
WHERE IS THE TOURNAMENT HELD?
The Sevens Stadium, Emirates’ purpose-built sporting complex, is just off Al Ain Road, down from the Outlet Mall.
WHAT'S THE BEST TIME TO ARRIVE?
There’s no such thing as ‘fashionably late’ at the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens – come early so you don’t miss anything as there are some great games on. Gates open at 7.30am for general admission, and 8am for corporate hospitality guests.
WHAT TIME DOES IT END?
The last match finishes at around 9pm on all three days. On Friday and Saturday everyone’s invited to Rugby Rock with live music where you can party ‘til midnight.
Definitely. Parking is free, and there’s space for over 12,000 cars.
SHOULD I LEAVE MY CAR AT HOME?
If you’re coming by taxi, don't forget there’s a free bus service to take fans back to handy locations across Dubai.
WILL MY CHILDREN NEED TICKETS TO ENTER THE STADIUM?
Children under 12 get in free with a parent or guardian. Children aged 12 and over will need a valid ticket for entry.
In Corporate Hospitality, children under 3 get in free with a parent or guardian. Children aged 3 and over will need a valid ticket for entry.
WILL I BE ABLE TO RE-ENTER THE STADIUM IF I NEED TO LEAVE DURING THE DAY?
Of course. You’ll be given a wristband when you first get to the venue and you’ll need them to move between pitches, and to show to security when you re-enter the stadium. Wristbands can’t be replaced; please keep hold of your ticket stub.
IS THERE A FAMILY AREA IN THE STANDS?
Yes. There are 2,000 seats dedicated to making your family’s day fun and memorable and there’s a designated entry to The Sevens Stadium just for families. If you’ve got children with you, get there early and settle in to our dedicated, alcohol-free family area – it’ll be easy to find, and clearly marked on the tournament guide.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE AREAS?
Stands - Wheelchair access is available for all grandstands but those in reserved seating and corporate hospitality should speak to the ticket office in advance on 043210008.
ARE THERE OTHER ACTIVITIES TO KEEP THE CHILDREN BUSY?
There’s plenty to keep the children entertained and the Rugby Village is jam-packed with activities including face painting, bouncy castles, meeting the mascots, and circus workshops. And the children won't want to miss the HSBC World of Sport, where they can try their hand at new games.
For the very little ones we have a dedicated nursery, to make sure that parents can enjoy the rugby knowing that their children are being well looked after.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS?
Sorry, no. But there are loads of places to grab a bite to eat and drinks in the Rugby Village, with something for everyone, including vegetarian and healthy eating options for adults and children.

ARE HOVERBOARDS & SELFIESTICKS ALLOWED IN THE VENUE?
Sorry, no Hoverboards or Selfie Sticks will be allowed past event security and we will not allow any to be stored.
