Ramadan is a very important time for Muslims all over the world, when they fast from sunrise to sunset for 30 days, observing one of the five pillars of Islam.

Generally, operating hours of establishments vary from one industry to another and businesses have shorter working hours.

Iftars and Suhoors

There will be plenty of Iftar and Suhoor options offered in hotels and restaurants. Iftar is the meal to break the fast after sunset, while Suhoor is the meal taken before sunrise. There are also night markets and Ramadan tents in the city at night time.

Attractions in Ramadan

Tourist attractions such as theme parks, desert safaris, boat tours, among others, are continually operational. Just be sure to do extra planning before you head out and spend your day.
